I found an article called "The Top Fifty Librarian Blogs" and checked out most of the ones listed. My top two favorites, based on name as opposed to content are:

The Society for Librarians* Who Say “Motherfucker”

As far as content goes, I vote for these two:

I set up the beta Bloglines newsreader instead of the regular one because the beta works with an iPhone.

I got the new iPhone the first day it came out. This was a big change for me because I had been loyal to Sprint Treos since the first one came out years ago. I was a little nervous about the change, but I'm glad I did it. The iPhone screen is fabulous; and there is an app, sometimes free, for practically anything you could want. Also, I'm lucky that I don't need reading glasses so I can read books on the iPhone in bed at night and not disturb my husband's sleep.

Some of the flickr mashups are quite beautiful like the one at this url:

It looks kind of like an elaborate quilt. Maybe technology makes it easier to be artistic, although I doubt that will happen to me.
Flickr allows third party sites to use the photos uploaded to flickr in different ways. There is a third party site where you can type in a word, and then the letters in the word are converted to photos of the letters from Flickr. Click here to see how my middle name, Margaret, looks in photos from flickr: http://metaatem.net/words/Margaret
You can also click on any letter to get a different photo of that letter from flickr. Sort of dumb but fun.

I searched for my hometown, Springfield, Massachusetts, in Flickr and found this picture of the City Hall. My great grandfather was a stone mason and worked on this building. There is clock tower, or campanile, to the left of it and next to the campanile is the Springfield Auditorium, the facade of which is identical to the City Hall building. My great grandfather worked on all three structures.

Just sent an email to Kate Tavakolian to register my blog. The Microsoft Outlook spellchecker didn't recognize the word "blog" and wanted to change it to "bog". Strange. Is there any deep inner meaning to this?
